That is why our Clinic is ready to warrant that transplanted hair grafts will start to grow within 12-18 months after implantation, provided you follow our simple and effective strategies for after care and maximizing results, and comply with the other terms and conditions outlined below (the “Warranty”)..

 

This Warranty is only valid for one (1) surgical revision (i.e. a second transplant), and is not valid for, and will not result in, a full or partial refund of the cost of your initial surgery or any ancillary products or services you may have purchased from the Clinic like PRP, topical creams/gels, medical devices, etc.

 

To maintain the validity of the Warranty, you will be required to send clear photographs of the surgical site(s), at specific intervals, as described by our Clinic staff, throughout the process of transplanted hair evolution and healing/recovery. It is imperative that you understand that the hair growth period varies between patients, usually taking 12 to 18 months, depending on your particular anatomy and the implanted area.

 

The Warranty will be void, and will not cover cases where you take certain medications, undergo certain procedures, or develop certain medical conditions or pathologies which directly, or through prescribed medications or treatments, are not conducive to the health and development of capillary follicles.  Such conditions, medications, and/or treatments include, but are not limited to: post-operative infection, chemotherapy, radiation, head/neck/scalp surgery, psoriasis, fungal infection, atopic dermatitis of the scalp, malnutrition, skin cancer, antidepressants, mood stabilizers, anticonvulsants, certain blood pressure medications, anticoagulants, antithyroid medications, methotrexate, and others.  If you are prescribed any of these medications, develop any of these conditions, or undergo any procedure which is/are in the reasonable medical opinion of the Clinic’s physicians are not conducive to optimal hair growth, the Warranty is void.   

 

The Clinic further warrants that it will implant follicular units at the density established by the operation plan, and in accordance with the prevailing standard of care in the industry.  The ultimate density of your follicular implants may be limited or reduced because of the health and/or viability of the your donor area and the number of extractable follicular units.  In those instances, the Clinic reserves the right to update the density target in your operative plan.

If, after the 12-18 months post-operative period, the transplanted area does not reach the expected density according to the plan defined by the Clinic and the follicles do not regrow, you may contact the clinic and make a Warranty claim.   Please be advised the Warranty is only applicable if you have followed all post-operative instructions, do not experience any medical condition outside the clinic’s control, take any medication or undergo any procedure not advised by the clinic’s medical staff, and if the transplanted area does not reach the density identified in the operative plan.  The Warranty does not apply in instances where the density of the area has otherwise met the level defined in the operative plan, but you are simply dissatisfied with the aesthetic appearance, hair length or texture, or any other factor.

The Warranty is valid only for the areas operated on, and does not cover those not considered by the operative plan.  Further, the Warranty will only apply to a revision for those areas which have not met the planned density.  No revision will be performed in areas which have met the planned density.

 

Warranty claims will not be considered prior to 18 months post-operative.  At the end of that period, the Clinic will make its final evaluation that will determine the objective  results and whether you are eligible to make a claim under the Warranty.
