In this case study, we focus on a patient who wanted to cover an area at the front of his scalp that had previously undergone micropigmentation. The challenge was to start from the area where he had a tattoo and work our way back as much as possible to ensure thorough coverage.

Method Used: We chose the Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) method, using a Sapphire blade for this procedure. This technique is known for its precision and effectiveness, making it a great choice for such a detailed task.

Progress Timeframe: The entire process took 8 months to complete.

The patient’s main goal was to cover an old tattoo with real hair. He was particularly concerned about the process because he has Afro-textured hair, which can be more challenging to work with. Despite these concerns, our team managed to achieve an excellent result, providing full and dense hair coverage that blended seamlessly with his natural hair.

This patient traveled all the way from the Dominican Republic to visit our clinic, showing a lot of trust in our ability to meet his needs.

We’re happy to report that the patient saw significant progress over the 8 months and had a smooth recovery process. The outcome was successful, with the patient achieving the natural-looking hair density he desired. This case is a great example of our team’s ability to tackle complex challenges and deliver satisfying results to our patients.
